Each year the Rhode Island Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-RI) selects and honors one fundraising executive for his/her outstanding contributions to the fundraising profession and the community.  The Outstanding Fundraising Professional award will be presented at AFP-RI’s Annual Fundraising Day conference luncheon on April 11, 2014.

By nominating an individual who has contributed exemplary time, talent, treasure or a combination thereof, to the Rhode Island community, you will enhance AFP-RI’s knowledge of his/her work and if chosen, will bring much deserved recognition to this individual and will inspire another generation of leaders within the fundraising profession.

This award honors an outstanding individual fundraising professional or consultant who works directly or indirectly for a nonprofit charitable organization.  The nominee must have a minimum of 10 years experience in a fundraising field and must be a member of a professional organization such as AFP, AHP, CASE, or AAFRC.  Current AFP-RI Board Members are ineligible for this award.
