Strategic Plan 2013-2015

Dear Fellow Members, Colleagues, Supporters, and Capacity Builders,

Now in its 31st year of service, the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Rhode Island Chapter is pleased to share with you AFP-RI’s 2013-2015 Strategic Plan.

The strategic planning process was started in June 2012. The AFP-RI Board of Directors set the course with the planning team, consisting of board members Cheryl Del Pico, President, Michele Berard President-Elect, and Lisa Lydon, Past President, and our facilitator Simone Joyaux, ACFRE.

The Board and planning committee’s deepest appreciation goes to Simone for her generous gift of guiding the planning process and formulating the final plan.

The plan includes a revised mission and vision statement, newly-established core values, and supporting data and information from background papers, surveys, and focus groups. Strategic goals were defined with a general timeline and the Board committees are currently completing their detailed actions plans that are in alignment with the strategic goals and objectives.

The AFP-RI 2013-2015 strategic plan was officially adopted on May 15, 2013 and the final document can be found here.

Thank you again to those within the AFP community and Rhode Island’s nonprofit community that contributed to helping AFP-RI set its strategic direction.

Sincerely,

Association of Fundraising Professionals
