HERBERT E. KAPLAN YOUTH IN PHILANTHROPY SCHOLARSHIP 2010

AFP-RI is happy to announce we are taking applications for
THE HERBERT E. KAPLAN YOUTH IN PHILANTHROPY SCHOLARSHIP. 
This scholarship is available for high school seniors who plan to further their education in 2011-2012 accademic. The 2009 Scholarship was awarded to Gianna Velino at the National Philanthropy Day Luncheon, November 24, 2009.  Gianna will be attending Johnson & Wales University in the fall of 2010. 
Deadline for 2010 is Aug. 10, 2010

2010 OUTSTANDING FUNDRAISING PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR 
CAROL GOLDEN

AFP Rhode Island is pleased to announce Carol Golden, Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at the Rhode Island Foundation, has been chosen to receive the Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the Year award.  This prestigious award honors Carol for her outsanding contributions to the fundraising profession and the community.
